STORYTIME
So last P-Day, after playing soccer for a couple hours, me and Hermana Pennington went to drop off our companions at the airport. They were headed to Madrid for MLC. So we went on exchanges again. Anyways, hna Pennington usually always has the keys and my comp always has the keys. So we get to the church after dropping them off and she says “Wouldn’t it be funny if I didn’t have the keys right now?” Checks her bag, and doesn’t have the keys. We call the other Hermanas and they are on the plane about to take off and sure enough both comps on the plane have the keys to our piso and the church. We also ended up with the only phone in the mission that didn’t get switched to 400 GB of data. So we (thinking that we had all the data in the world) used about 21 GB… our limit used to be 20 GB so it was so slow we couldn’t even call or text without WiFi. Having no keys and no way to get into the church for WiFi we walk around the building looking for a signal. Call the office in Madrid and we get it all figured out. We didn’t end up paying for the locksmith because im not really sure why I was so tired. But blessings all around. We got new keys after a couple hours of not knowing what would happen that night. So we got a key to our actual apartment door but not one to let us into the apartment building. (You need a key to get through the gate to the building and then you need the key to get into the building.) So every time we had to go home, we had to hop the fence and then ring the bells or wait 15-20 min for someone to randomly enter or exit and then we awkwardly say hi and then squeeze through the door.
All is well now. The hnas are back. We all have enough data. We just said a lot of prayers, laughed a lot, and kept putting one foot in front of the other.
BAUTISMO
Got to go to the baptism of our friend Nausset. He is so golden. Just so humble and willing to accept the gospel. The other Hermanas had been teaching him so it was very cool to see that. The church is true and the gift of the Holy Ghost is real. Bring His children home.
MEMBERS
We ate with a lot of members this week. I had seafood paella and arepas and flan stuff. Super tasty. The members here are just incredible. They love to help missionaries because they know how special this work is.
I’m loving life and loving God and Jesus Christ. I love the Islands and the people here. I wake up everyday and think to myself my life is good, my life is real good.
BOOK OF MORMON
I have been reading The Book of Mormon a ton everyday. I’m thinking I could read it once every transfer because it’s that good. It is my daily manna. When I am in need of strength I know with 100% confidence that God will teach me and give me the guidance I need.
Anyways that’s all for now hopefully this finds you well. Keep praying for me and I’m always praying for you. Know that God loves you. That’s my favorite thing to say because it’s the most important.
Great day for beach volleyball
Awesome sunset…Don’t tell Mia but we’re pretty sure she figured out her heart has room for more than just the mountains of Utah. โฐ๐๐
