The title is DELIRIOUS because this week has been amazing! My companion and I, Hermana LeFevre are just working so hard! We have been working so hard but having so much fun because this is a joyous work! Literally everyday this week we have passed out at bedtime!
Let's roll 😎 So we have this friend. She's 15 and we have been teaching her for a while. Her mom and dad and sisters have been interested but also hate the church and religion so that's been an obstacle.
First transfer in the field ✅ It's been a crazy 6 weeks! We got transfer calls on Saturday morning!
I went to Madrid for 3 days this week for a residency appointment. Me and Hermana Funk had appointments so we basically did another exchange. But it was loco.
So last pday, after playing soccer for a couple hours, me and hna Pennington went to drop off our companions at the airport. They were headed to Madrid for MLC.
I really don't know where to begin. And when I go to write about what happened this week I don't have words. I can't remember. It feels like such a whirlwind. Good thing I'm writing in my journal A TON!
Surprise! P-day is today since we had zone conference yesterday so our whole zone is doing a P-day together. This means that the Elders and Sisters from the other islands came. We are playing soccer and basketball and ping pong at the church.
OK this past week was literally INSANE. I'm not sure where to start. So we took trains and busses to the airport then flew SLC to Dallas then Dallas (4 pm) to Madrid, Spain at 9 am their time.
This week has been awesome. We had another devotional on Tuesday with an Area Seventy. I got to see my dad at lunch twice which was funny. But other than that it was just another week in the service of the Lord. There was a primary class that came and toured the mtc and they were the cutest little kids. Obviously not cuter than my little nieces and nephews. 🥰
So last week in the choir, we sang *I Feel My Savior's Love*. It was a really special experience because the conductor would stop every now and then and share stories and insights. The main thing he shared was the story of the two apostles walking with Jesus not knowing or recognizing it was him. This was after he was resurrected and they were telling Jesus all about HIS miracles.
Alright so it's week cuatro. The saying that the days are long and the weeks are fast is so true. It still feels like I got set apart yesterday. I'm not even sure how it's already Thursday.
Another great week. I will say, my district and I are all exhausted and one Elder said he fell asleep while eating breakfast. But the Lord continues to give us strength or la fortaleza every day to do what we need to do.
I just wanted to share some of the things I have learned. It is too good not to share and I wish everyone was in the MTC with me to see how powerful this is. I know everyone is very busy (believe me, I get it 😂) but please, humor yourself, and take the time to read this message.
